Sinking into Vashj'ir
Complete the Vashj'ir storylines listed below.
Sinking into Vashj'ir is a 10-point achievement earned by completing the Vashj'ir storylines across Kelp'thar Forest, Shimmering Expanse, and Abyssal Depths.
Begin in Stormwind
The entire Vashj'ir quest line starts in Stormwind with Call of Duty. Alliance players can also complete optional pre-quests A Personal Summons and Eye of the Storm before heading out.
Complete Kelp'thar Forest quests
Work through the main chain starting with Sea Legs, then Pay it Forward, Rest for the Weary, Buy Us Some Time, Travelling on Our Stomachs, To Arms!, On Our Own Terms, All or Nothing, Better Late than Dead, The Abyssal Ride, Gimme Shelter!, and Ain't Too Proud to Beg. While questing, kill a Slitherfin Eel to start Once More, with Eeling, and kill a Sabreclaw Skitterer to get the Crumpled Treasure Map that starts Kliklak's Craw.
Complete Shimmering Expanse quests
The prerequisite for this zone is Across the Great Divide from Kelp'thar Forest. Run the main chain through The Looming Threat, Backed Into a Corner, Rundown, Silver Tide Hollow, then continue through Nespirah and Making Contact. Side chains include The Great Sambino and Totem Modification. Horde players should kill a Hellscream Seadog at any point to automatically receive an additional quest.
Complete Abyssal Depths quests
The prerequisite for this zone is Full Circle from Shimmering Expanse. Run the main chain through Bio-fuel, Fuel-ology 101, The Brothers Digsong, Phosphora Hunting, A Lure and Coldlights Out, and One Last Favor. At any point, kill a Hellscream Seadog to automatically receive Claim Korthun's End.
Tips
A hotfix reduced the required quest count to approximately 146 completed quests, even though the achievement text still displays 160 required.
