Speed Up Progress with Crates and Keystones
Completing the Draenor Curator achievement (collecting all pristine Draenor artifacts) grants crates that can be used at the Seat of Knowledge to purchase fragments for older expansion Archaeology races, letting you solve rare artifacts from older races without digging. Additionally, buying Dwarf Rune Stones and Vrykul keystones from the Auction House reduces the number of fragments needed per solve, speeding up rare artifact acquisition.
Tips
Druid is the most efficient class for Archaeology due to instant-cast flight form, reducing travel time between dig sites.
During the Hallow's End event, the magic broom mount provides instant-cast flying for any class, offering a temporary speed boost for digging sessions.
Purchasing Dwarf Rune Stones and Vrykul keystones from the Auction House can reduce the fragment cost per solve, letting you attempt more rares in less time.
