Operation: Gnomeregan is an achievement earned by assisting High Tinker Mekkatorque and the Gnomeregan Exiles during the pre-Cataclysm event to recapture the surface of Gnomeregan.
Join Mekkatorque's Assault
Participate in the Operation: Gnomeregan event alongside High Tinker Mekkatorque. During the tunnel entrance phase, stay behind Mekkatorque and do not enter the tunnel — this prevents a known bug where waves of Troggs stop spawning and Mekkatorque despawns.
Defeat the Giant Trogg
Continue fighting waves of Troggs until the giant Trogg appears — this signals the phase is progressing correctly and you are on track to complete the event.
