Obtain Invincible from Arthas in Icecrown Citadel.

Obtain Invincible's Reins by defeating The Lich King on 25-Man Heroic difficulty inside Icecrown Citadel.

Enter Icecrown Citadel

Travel to Icecrown Citadel and set the raid difficulty to 25-Man Heroic before entering. This difficulty is required for Invincible's Reins to have a chance to drop.

Defeat The Lich King

Fight through the raid and defeat The Lich King, also known as Arthas, at the top of Icecrown Citadel. At max level you can solo the entire raid, though managing the adds without letting them stack is important during the encounter.

Loot Invincible's Reins

After defeating The Lich King, loot Invincible's Reins from his corpse. One player confirmed obtaining the mount after 42 kills, so persistence across weekly lockouts is expected.

Tips

  • A Tenacity pet with Spirit Mend provides meaningful sustain during the solo attempt; Drums of Forgotten Kings and Runescroll of Fortitude III can also improve survivability.

  • The world first Invincible drop went to Tsukky of Paragon on Lightning's Blade-EU, confirming the mount drops from this encounter.
