Flu Shot Shortage (25 player)
Defeat Festergut while none of the players in your raid group ever had 3 stacks of Inoculated in 25-player mode.
Flu Shot Shortage (25 player) is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Festergut in 25-player mode without any raid member ever reaching 3 stacks of the Inoculated buff.
Enter and Engage Festergut
Enter the raid and engage Festergut. When Gas Spores spawn, allow players to gain exactly 2 stacks of Inoculated — never 3. Two stacks reduce Pungent Blight damage by 50% instead of the full 75%, but Festergut can be burned down before a third spore even spawns if your damage output is sufficient.
Survive Pungent Blight
After every 4th Inhale Blight, Festergut casts Pungent Blight, dealing roughly 63,375 to 66, 625 unmitigated shadow damage in 25-player mode — reduced to approximately 31, 688 to 33, 313 with 2 stacks of Inoculated. Use personal damage-reduction cooldowns immediately before Pungent Blight hits: Druids use Barkskin, Rogues use Feint, Paladins use Divine Shield, Priests use Power Word: Shield, and Death Knights use Icebound Fortitude combined with Anti-Magic Shell.
Tips
See the video guides linked for a visual walkthrough of the spore and cooldown timing.
With the Icecrown Citadel zone buff active, high enough damage output can kill Festergut before a third Gas Spore spawns, making it possible to never approach 3 stacks naturally — simply spread out and avoid grouping on spores.
