Defeat Rotface without a Big Ooze casting Unstable Ooze Explosion in 25-player mode.
Dances with Oozes (25 player) is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Rotface in 25-player mode without any Big Ooze casting Unstable Ooze Explosion.
Enter and Engage Rotface
Enter Icecrown Citadel and defeat Rotface. When Mutated Infection is removed or expires, a Little Ooze spawns; when two Little Oozes merge they form a Big Ooze, which will cast Unstable Ooze Explosion if it merges with enough oozes to reach 5 stacks.
Merge Little Oozes First
Allow two Little Oozes to merge into a single-stack Big Ooze before that Big Ooze touches any other ooze — a single-stack Big Ooze only adds one stack when merging with another Big Ooze, effectively halving how quickly stacks accumulate compared to merging large groups carelessly.
Kite Big Oozes Carefully
Assign a kiter to lead each Big Ooze away from the raid; because Big Oozes are slow-moving they are manageable to kite. Allow the first two single-stack Big Oozes to merge into a two-stack, then continue merging until a Big Ooze reaches four stacks, at which point a second kiter must start the process over with fresh oozes to avoid hitting the five-stack explosion threshold.
Add Kiters as Needed
A third kiter may be needed toward the end of the fight to pick up any additional Big Ooze that forms; kill Rotface before the accumulated Big Oozes become unmanageable.
Tips
Two Big Oozes can also merge with each other, adding their stacks together — if the combined total exceeds 5 they will explode, so never allow two high-stack Big Oozes to touch.
