Defeat Professor Putricide without using Regurgitated Ooze on the Abomination in 10-player mode.

Nausea, Heartburn, Indigestion... (10-player) is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Professor Putricide without ever using the Abomination's Regurgitated Ooze spell during the encounter.

1

Skip Regurgitated Ooze Entirely

Enter Icecrown Citadel and reach Professor Putricide. The Abomination must never cast Regurgitated Ooze at any point during the fight. This means the slimes spawned during the encounter will move at full speed toward their targets, so the Abomination player should immediately switch to meleeing each slime as soon as it spawns, ignoring slime pools until the individual slime is dead.

2

Handle the Green Slime

The Green Slime will almost certainly reach its target at full speed without a movement speed debuff, so all DPS should burn it down as fast as possible. When it reaches its target, the raid should stack on that player so the explosion damage is spread across multiple people. After the knockback, DPS the slime again before it can reach its target a second time — killing it before a second hit is the key threshold.

3

Handle the Orange Gas Cloud

The Orange Gas Cloud should be kited by its target for as long as possible. A speed buff such as a Holy Priest's Body and Soul ability helps extend the kite window. The longer the target kites, the more debuff stacks fall off, reducing the raid damage when the cloud finally connects. The cloud hitting once is manageable; the goal is to prevent it from stacking damage by keeping it chasing rather than hitting repeatedly.

4

Soak Volatile Ooze Explosion

To soak the Volatile Ooze explosion safely, cluster melee DPS and available pets alongside a healer on the targeted player so the burst damage is divided among multiple characters. Ranged DPS should remain in position and continue burning the Ooze down during this phase rather than repositioning.

5

Survive Into Phase Three

Once Professor Putricide enters his final phase, slimes no longer spawn, so the primary challenge of this achievement is effectively over. Focus the remainder of the fight on burning Putricide down without the pressure of managing ooze mechanics.
