Soul Power
Defeat Bronjahm in The Forge of Souls on Heroic Difficulty with at least 4 Corrupted Soul Fragments alive.
Soul Power is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Bronjahm in The Forge of Souls on Heroic difficulty while keeping at least 4 Corrupted Soul Fragments alive when he dies.
Enter The Forge of Souls
Enter The Forge of Souls on Heroic difficulty and engage Bronjahm. Note that he will only cast Corrupt Soul if someone other than the tank is present, so you cannot complete this achievement by pulling him alone without a pet or companion.
Survive Corrupt Soul Casts
Roughly every 30 seconds, Bronjahm targets a party member and channels Corrupt Soul, spawning a Corrupted Soul Fragment. When this happens, run at least 20-30 yards away from Bronjahm, because each Fragment moves toward him and heals him if it reaches him.
Slow and Kite the Fragments
Kite Bronjahm around the outer platform in front of his pull location, using slowing abilities on the Corrupted Soul Fragments to prevent them from reaching him. Abilities like Piercing Howl or frost novas work well; note that Deep Freeze does not work on the Fragments.
Hold Bronjahm Above 20% HP
Keep Bronjahm at roughly 40% health while you wait for all 4 Corrupted Soul Fragments to spawn, since he only casts Corrupt Soul during Phase 1 (above 20% health). Do not let him drop below 20% until all 4 Fragments are alive.
Burn Bronjahm Away from Fragments
Once all 4 Fragments are alive, move Bronjahm back toward the center of the room where you originally pulled him, away from the Fragments, then burn him down. When he enters Phase 2 he teleports back to the central platform, and the Fragments do not teleport with him, so position him away from the Fragments before triggering Phase 2 to avoid him teleporting directly next to them.
Tips
Avoid using Cleave or area-of-effect abilities that could accidentally kill the Corrupted Soul Fragments before all 4 have spawned.
