Pelt the enemy leaders listed below.

BB King is a 10-point achievement that requires you to pelt specific Alliance faction leaders with the Red Rider Air Rifle.

Obtain Red Rider Air Rifle

You will receive a Red Rider Air Rifle with 200 charges. Each shot deals 1 damage, which will aggro the faction leader. The gun cannot be used while stealthed or mounted, but can be used in druid forms. It has a minimum range of 8 yards and a cast time of roughly 1 second.

Pelt Tyrande in Darnassus

Head to Darnassus and locate Tyrande Whisperwind on her platform. Allow yourself to be killed under the platform, run back up the ramp, resurrect on the platform, shoot Tyrande with the Red Rider Air Rifle, then die.

Pelt Prophet Velen in Exodar

Enter the Exodar from the left entrance after exiting the ship — this brings you close to Prophet Velen. Run up to Velen before being killed, then run back, resurrect, shoot him, and die.

Pelt Muradin in Ironforge

Travel to Ironforge and locate Muradin Bronzebeard at 40, 55. Use the same resurrect-and-shoot strategy to pelt him with the Red Rider Air Rifle.

Pelt King Varian in Stormwind

Travel to Stormwind and target King Varian Wrynn. Use the resurrect-and-shoot strategy to pelt him and complete the achievement. A macro using /tar King Varian Wrynn followed by /use Red Rider Air Rifle can help target him quickly.

Tips

  • This achievement is not part of the Winter Veil meta achievement and does not contribute toward the Violet Proto-Drake meta achievement.

  • The Red Rider Air Rifle does not use your character's hit rating to calculate hits or misses — missing is possible regardless of your gear.

  • Dumping your gear before attempting each leader reduces repair costs when you die after shooting.
