A Flash in the Void
Open 100 Flickergates.
A Flash in the Void requires opening 100 Flickergates found inside Delves, rewarding the Flickering title upon completion.
Use Skittering Breach: Shadow Realm
Enter Skittering Breach: Shadow Realm and do not click the portal at the entrance — no mobs will spawn but the Flickergate will still appear. Click the Flickergate, then leave the Delve and repeat.
Only run Bountiful Delves
Flickergates are guaranteed to spawn in Bountiful Delves. Non-Bountiful Delves only have a roughly 1-in-10 to 1-in-15 chance of containing one. Do not complete the Bountiful Delve or it will no longer be Bountiful, removing the guaranteed spawn.
Drop combat to exit
You cannot leave a Delve while in combat, so bring a class capable of dropping combat. Run past mobs to reach the Flickergate, drop combat, then leave via your portrait to reset quickly. Running at Tier 1 allows you to one-shot mobs easily if combat is unavoidable.
Use a macro to exit fast
Create a macro with /run C_PartyInfo.DelveTeleportOut() and place it on your action bar to leave the Delve quickly after clicking the Flickergate.
Alternative: Use Nightfall Sanctum or Fungal Folly
Nightfall Sanctum works well because you can stand on a ledge and see most Flickergate spawn spots at once. In Nightfall Sanctum with the Kyron's Assault story variant, Siege Ballistas near the start help reach 4 of the 7 possible Flickergate positions. Fungal Folly is also effective — after dropping down the entrance hole you get a broad view of the Delve, making it easy to spot the Flickergate, with roughly 13 gates possible in 10 minutes.

Clicking the Flickergate is all that is required for progress — you do not need to complete the Delve or open a chest.
