A Flicker in the Dark
Open 10 Flickergates.
A Flicker in the Dark requires you to open 10 Flickergates, which are void rift-like interactables found randomly inside Delves that reward Undercoin, Resonance Crystals, and other resources upon clicking.
Choose a fast Delve
The fastest known method is Nightfall Sanctum on the Kyron's Assault variant. Use the catapult at the start to launch onto the ship and quickly scan the entire Delve for a Flickergate — if you don't spot one within 30 seconds, leave the Delve and re-enter.
Try Underkeep Tier 1
Enter the Underkeep on Tier 1 during the Third Party Operation story. A Flickergate is guaranteed in the second room, reachable in under a minute. Click it, then right-click your portrait and select Leave Delve to reset and repeat — averaging around 23 seconds per run.
Try Excavation Site 9
During the Rowdy Rifts variant of Excavation Site 9, three possible Flickergate spawn locations are accessible immediately from the start: one past the Dark Tear to the left behind a station building, one right after using the Dark Tear, and one below the forward platform. Click the gate, leave the Delve, and repeat.
Run with a group
Running Kyron's Assault in Nightfall Sanctum with at least 3 players significantly increases the chance of a Flickergate spawning — groups of three reported a gate spawning roughly 3 out of every 4 or 5 attempts, compared to potentially 20 or more attempts when running solo.
Tips
You do NOT need to complete the Delve — simply click the Flickergate and leave immediately to reset.
