Veteran of the Dawn
Outgrow the use of Veteran Dawncrests during Midnight Season 1.
Veteran of the Dawn requires you to reach item level 250 in every gear slot during Midnight Season 1, which unlocks the ability to trade Veteran Dawncrests for Champion Dawncrests.
Reach 250 Item Level
Upgrade every gear slot to item level 250 or higher. Veteran 6/6 upgrades count toward this requirement, as do higher tiers such as Champion 1/6 and above.
Track Slot Progress
Run this macro to see which slots are still below 250: /run local n=tInvert(Enum.ItemRedundancySlot),a;for i=0,16 do a = C_ItemUpgrade.GetHighWatermarkForSlot(i); if a < 250 then print(a, n) end end — any slot printed is not yet complete.
Relog if Achievement Doesn't Pop
Once all slots show 250 or higher, the achievement may not trigger immediately. Log out and back in to force it to complete.
Tips
If you are on a class that cannot equip certain weapon types, the achievement may incorrectly flag those weapon slots as incomplete even if you have a valid weapon equipped above 250 — this appears to be a bug rather than a requirement to own every weapon type.
