Complete 10 Legion Assaults in the Broken Isles with a Timerunner.
Defending the Broken Isles III requires you to complete 10 Legion Assaults in the Broken Isles as a Timerunner, rewarding a Greater Bronze Cache and the Decor Reward: Vertical Felsteel Chain.
Start a Legion Assault
Travel to any active Legion Assault zone — Azsuna, Val'sharah, Highmountain, or Stormheim — and accept the assault quest. Complete all objectives until the final quest sends you into the assault scenario.
Complete the assault scenario
Enter and finish the assault scenario — Battle for Azsuna, Battle for Val'sharah, Battle for Highmountain, or Battle for Stormheim. Each time you complete the scenario, your achievement progress increases by 1, regardless of whether you turn in the final quest.
Abandon, reset, and repeat
After the scenario ends, do not turn in the quest. Abandon it, leave your party, then fly back to the assault area and pick up the quest again to requeue. Repeat this process until you have completed the scenario 10 times total.
Tips
Each assault lasts 4 hours with a 3-hour gap between assaults (as of December 12), so plan your farming sessions around these windows.
If the scenario queue is taking 5–10 minutes, ask nearby players in the assault zone if they are also queuing — joining together can speed up the process.
You can complete all 10 runs during a single 4-hour assault window since you are repeating the scenario rather than waiting for new assaults.
