Hidden Potential of the Grandmaster
Locate and unlock a hidden appearance for your artifact as a Monk.
Hidden Potential of the Grandmaster requires a Monk to unlock one hidden artifact appearance, with a different method available for each of the three specs: Brewmaster, Mistweaver, and Windwalker.
Unlock Your Class Hall
Before pursuing any hidden appearance, you must have the Monk Class Hall unlocked and the base artifact weapon for your intended spec.
Brewmaster: Farm the Bubbling Keg
Travel to the Monk Class Hall and locate the bubbling keg inside the building behind Elder Xang — accessing it requires a class hall upgrade. Interact with the keg once per day for a daily chance to receive 
Legend of the Monkey King; you do not need to be in Brewmaster spec to loot the keg, but you must switch to Brewmaster spec to actually collect the appearance.
Mistweaver: Defeat Ysondre
Enter The Emerald Nightmare on any difficulty and defeat Ysondre (Dragons of Nightmare) for a chance to receive 
Breath of the Undying Serpent; you must be in Mistweaver spec to collect the appearance.
Windwalker: Complete Withered Army Training
Unlock the Withered Army Training scenario by progressing through the Suramar campaign, then complete the scenario with a score above 300 for a chance to receive 
The Stormfist; you must be in Windwalker spec to collect the appearance.
Tips
The Emerald Nightmare is soloable at max level — enter and defeat Ysondre without a group.
The bubbling keg in the Monk Class Hall resets daily, giving one attempt per day at Legend of the Monkey King.
The Withered Army Training scenario resets on a regular schedule, allowing repeated attempts at The Stormfist.
