Locate and unlock a hidden appearance for your artifact as a Mage.
Hidden Potential of the Archmage is a 5-point achievement that rewards the Conjured Altar of the Guardian decoration by unlocking the hidden artifact appearance 
The Woolomancer's Charge for the Arcane Mage artifact.
Unlock Class Hall and Artifact
Before starting, you must have the Hall of the Guardian unlocked and the Arcane Mage base artifact equipped on your Arcane spec.
Polymorph Specific Mobs by Zone
Use Polymorph on the following mobs in their respective zones: Cliffwing Hippogryph in Azsuna, Wild Dreamrunner in Val'sharah, Highpeak Goat in Highmountain, Plains Runehorn Calf in Stormheim, and Heartwood Doe in Suramar.
Explode the Volatile Sheep
Each day there is a chance a Volatile Sheep will spawn in the Hall of the Guardian — when it appears, right-click it several times until it explodes.
Find the Stormheim Sheep
Locate the Extremely Volatile Stormheim Sheep in Stormheim and right-click it several times until it explodes.
Talk to Cote in Elwynn Forest
Travel to the Tower of Azora in Elwynn Forest and speak with Cote "Shepherd" Metcalf at 63.8, 68.4 to complete the short event that finalizes the unlock.
Tips
The Volatile Sheep in the Hall of the Guardian is on a daily spawn chance, so this step may require returning on multiple days.
