Prepare Before Entering
Bring food, flasks, weapon oil, and combat potions before entering. A gear score of around 670 is recommended, and bringing Soridormi as a DPS companion helps with interrupts.
Start With Mage Quarter
Clear the Mage Quarter first, as Magister Umbric is the hardest boss — he simultaneously applies a sanity drain and a polymorph with no reliable way to handle both at once for most classes, so budget two restoration orbs for this fight and use drums.
Teleport Back, Then Trade District
After the Mage Quarter, teleport back to the cathedral and head to the Trade District next, focusing on burning down the first elite quickly to prevent sanity drain.
Clear Old Town From South-West
Enter Old Town from the south-west entrance and use a defensive cooldown for each trash pack, as their avoidable attacks and debuffs drain health quickly, and allowing any informant to complete their 5-second stun cast is effectively fatal.
Teleport Back, Then Dwarven District
Teleport back to the cathedral, then clear the Dwarven District, which is the easiest area of the vision.
Finish With Alleria
After the Dwarven District, use drums for the Alleria encounter to close out the run and complete the achievement.
Tips
Completing this achievement does not automatically award the 5-mask completion achievement at the same time, so that achievement must be earned separately.
Shaw's eyes do not drain extra sanity, so they are lower priority threats compared to other mechanics in Old Town.
