My New Nemesis
Defeat The Underpin in his lair before the release of the next season of delves.
My New Nemesis requires defeating The Underpin in his lair and rewards the Golden-Gob Propulsion Rig upon completion.
Set Brann to Healer
Before engaging The Underpin, set Brann to Healer role so he supports you throughout the fight rather than dealing damage.
Enable Your Interact Key
Go to Options, then Controls, and enable the interact key — this makes interacting with bombs during the fight significantly faster than clicking them manually.
Focus The Underpin Only
Keep all attacks on The Underpin at all times; attacking the adds that spawn is a waste of time and resources.
Use Bombs to Kill Adds
When adds spawn, move near a set of unexploded bombs and kick them into the adds — adds die in approximately two bomb hits.
Push Bombs Away When Dropped
When The Underpin drops bombs near you, push them out of your area and avoid all ground-targeted lines and other AoE damage.
Manage Pet Aggro Manually
Turn pet Growl off by default, but manually activate Growl when The Underpin starts chasing you so aggro transfers to your pet.
Tips
Pick up Brann's healing potions during the fight, though only one or two are typically needed to survive.
This fight is completable at item level 629 and with Brann at level 69, so heavy gear investment is not required before attempting it.
