Scheming on a Thing
Defeat Chrome King Gallywix after Giga Bomb Detonation-ing 3 Giga Controls during a single Giga Coils in Liberation of Undermine on Normal difficulty or higher.
Scheming on a Thing requires you to defeat Chrome King Gallywix after using Giga Bomb Detonation on 3 separate Giga Controls during a single Giga Coils phase in the Liberation of Undermine raid on Normal difficulty or higher.
Reach the Giga Coils Phase
During the Chrome King Gallywix encounter, the Giga Coils intermission phase begins when the boss reaches 100 energy and spawns adds that drop bombs. Note that only a single platform is open during the very first set of bombs, making the achievement impossible on that initial phase.
Wait for the Second Intermission
Hold damage on Chrome King Gallywix so he does not phase at 50% before reaching 100 energy for the second set of adds. All platforms open up after the first intermission, giving access to all Giga Controls simultaneously.
Assign Three Dedicated Bombers
Designate 3 players to each pick up a bomb from the spawned adds and position themselves near their assigned Giga Control. Have all three walk into their respective Giga Control at the same time using a countdown, detonating 3 Giga Controls in a single Giga Coils phase.
Dispose of Remaining Bombs
After the 3 Giga Controls are detonated, throw the remaining bombs to destroy the overloaded Giga Coil and continue the fight as normal. The achievement tracker criteria will shift from red to white once the conditions are met, which you can monitor by shift-clicking the achievement.
Defeat Chrome King Gallywix
Complete the fight and defeat Chrome King Gallywix to receive the Scheming on a Thing achievement upon his death.
