Gain Mastery of Timeways for 5 weeks during the Turbulent Timeways II event.

Master of the Turbulent Timeways II requires you to gain the Mastery of Timeways buff during 5 separate weeks throughout the Turbulent Timeways II event (January 7 – February 26, 2025 on US servers; January 8 – February 26, 2025 on EU servers), rewarding the Timely Buzzbee mount upon completion.

1

Understand the time window

The event runs for 7 weeks total, meaning you can miss no more than 2 weeks and still complete the achievement. Missing 3 or more weeks makes it impossible to reach 5 completions within the event period.

2

Earn Mastery of Timeways week one

Complete 4 Timewalking dungeons in a single week to gain the Mastery of Timeways buff, which lasts 3 hours. Note that completing a 5th dungeon does not extend the buff duration.

3

Use an alt to save time

After earning the Mastery of Timeways buff on an alt character, log off that alt immediately — the buff timer pauses while you are logged off and does not tick down through the weekly reset. When you log back in the following week, complete just 1 Timewalking dungeon to refresh the buff and earn credit for that week, rather than running 4 dungeons again.

4

Repeat for 5 total weeks

Continue logging into the same alt each subsequent week and completing 1 Timewalking dungeon to gain weekly credit, until you have accumulated Mastery of Timeways across 5 separate weeks and the achievement completes.

Tips

  • Using a dedicated alt instead of your main prevents the Mastery of Timeways buff from expiring during normal gameplay sessions, reducing your weekly requirement from 4 dungeons to just 1 after the first week.

  • The buff timer is paused while logged off, so you do not need to time your log-out around the weekly reset — simply log off after earning the buff and return anytime the following week.
