Use the Zone Ability Button
During Lorewalker Cho's stories, a zone ability button appears at the bottom of the screen above your action bar whenever he prompts you to react. Use it each time it appears, as it goes on cooldown and disappears after each use.
Spam Throwable Reactions
Certain reactions, such as throwing rotten apples or rotten tomatoes at the stage, are spammable — pressing the button repeatedly during a single prompt can yield 4 to 6 progress points toward the 50 total needed.
Use a Reaction Macro

Disable Addons If Button Is Missing
If the zone ability button does not appear or cannot be interacted with, disable all addons before the event begins via the Addons option in the Game Menu, then select Reload UI to apply the change without relogging.
Tips
The throwable reactions are spammable and count multiple times per prompt, making them the fastest way to accumulate the 50 reactions required.
