War Stories is a meta-achievement requiring you to complete each of the Battle for Azeroth quest achievements listed under it, which requires progressing through both Alliance and Horde storylines.
Play Both Factions
War Stories requires completing quest achievements on both Alliance and Horde characters, so you will need at least one character of each faction to fulfill all listed sub-achievements.
Complete Horde Storyline Steps
For the Horde storyline, progress includes completing the Orgrimmar scenario and confronting Sylvanas with Saurfang as part of the required quest chain.
Complete Alliance Storyline Steps
For the Alliance storyline, progress includes returning to Stormwind to witness Tyrande refuse to sign the armistice, which is part of the quest chain leading to 'In Teldrassil's Shadow'.
Trigger the Owl for Teldrassil
After completing the Orgrimmar scenario, confronting Sylvanas with Saurfang, and watching Tyrande refuse to sign the armistice in Stormwind, the owl required for 'In Teldrassil's Shadow' should appear — if it does not, verify that every preceding step in the quest chain has been fully completed before re-attempting.
