Runed of the Undermine
Outgrow the use of Runed Undermine Crests during The War Within Season 2.
Runed of the Undermine is earned by reaching item level 658 or higher in every gear slot during The War Within Season 2, which unlocks the ability to trade Runed Undermine Crests for Gilded Undermine Crests.
Reach ilvl 658 in all slots
Obtain an item at item level 658 or higher for every slot on your character. The achievement tracks hidden highwater marks per slot, so items do not need to be equipped — they only need to be owned and equippable by your character.
Obtain two rings and two trinkets
Rings and trinkets each require two separate items at ilvl 658 or higher that you can equip simultaneously. Because most rings and trinkets are unique-equipped, looting duplicates of the same item will not satisfy the second slot requirement.
Cover your weapon slots
You need either a two-handed weapon at ilvl 658 or higher, or both a one-handed weapon and an offhand at ilvl 658 or higher. Only the weapon slots relevant to your class and specialization apply.
Equip tradeable items before trading
If you receive a tradeable item that would satisfy a slot, equip it at least once before trading or passing it on, as equipping it binds it to you and allows the highwater mark to register correctly.
Check missing slots with a macro
Run this macro in-game to see which slots are still below 658: /run local n=tInvert(Enum.ItemRedundancySlot),a;for i=0,16 do a = C_ItemUpgrade.GetHighWatermarkForSlot(i); if a < 658 then print(a, n[i]) end end
