Equip an item of at least item level 636 in every slot during The War Within Season 1.

Harbinger of the Gilded requires you to equip an item of at least item level 636 in every gear slot during The War Within Season 1.

1

Track missing gear slots

Run this macro in-game to identify which slots are still below 636: /run local n=tInvert(Enum.ItemRedundancySlot),a;for i=0,16 do a = C_ItemUpgrade.GetHighWatermarkForSlot(i); if a < 636 then print(a, n) end end. Note that if you use a staff instead of a main-hand and off-hand combination, some slots may show as unfilled.

2

Understand eligible item sources

Items at 636 and above are required in every slot. Crafted gear at item level 636 counts toward this achievement following the 11.0.7 patch change. Myth track items from Mythic+ require at minimum a +10 key, meaning vault rewards are often the most accessible path for players who do not raid Mythic — but this can take multiple months of weekly vault rewards across 16 slots.

3

Prioritize Mythic raid drops

If completing the achievement before the end of Season 1 is your goal, Mythic raid drops are the fastest way to fill all 16 slots, since relying solely on Mythic+ vault rewards at the required item level across every slot can take approximately four or more months.

4

Claim the alt benefit after completion

After earning this Feat of Strength, Gilded crest upgrade costs on alternate characters are reduced to 10 crests per upgrade.

Tips

  • Weekly Great Vault rewards from Mythic+ at +10 or higher are the primary non-raid source of Myth track gear, but filling all 16 slots this way requires many weekly resets — factor this into your season timeline.
