1

Adjust Particle Density Setting

Before starting any race, go to Settings, then General, and set Particle Density in the Graphics Quality block to disabled. This removes the blinding flashes that appear after passing through each checkpoint ring.

2

Reach The Heaps Leap

Head to The Heaps Leap at 33.77, 76.24 in Undermine. The race start is on an elevated platform you can jump directly on top of.

3

Reach Rags to Riches Rush

Head to Rags to Riches Rush at 25.5, 42.13 in Undermine, which is located on top of the Sweethearts Resort. To get up there, go inside and use the ladder at 25.85, 41.69.

4

Reach Skyrocketing Sprint

Head to Skyrocketing Sprint at 39.03, 28.69 in Undermine, using the ladder at 39.94, 28.78 to access the elevated start position.

5

Reach Scrapshop Shot

Head to Scrapshop Shot at 39.22, 11.35 in Undermine, accessing the roof via the Scrapshop Roof Access at 39.42, 25.92.

6

Complete Each Race for Gold

Each race is flown using a jetpack with two main controls: ability 1 toggles between faster speed and better turning (keep it set to faster speed for the entire race), and ability 2 restarts the race. Stay on the faster speed toggle throughout and avoid all obstacles. Both a normal and a reverse version exist for each race, and both must be completed for the achievement.

Tips

  • The flail ability that slows you down is not required for gold, but if a tight turn is giving you trouble, toggling it briefly on and off can help you steer through it without losing enough time to fail gold.

  • If you toggle the flail ability too quickly it may not register, so check for the slow animation around your character's feet to confirm it is active or inactive.

  • Re-enable Particle Density in Settings after finishing the races.
