Plentiful Perplexing Puzzles
Successfully complete 25 puzzles within a delve.
Plentiful Perplexing Puzzles requires you to successfully complete 25 puzzles within a delve, and the fastest method involves farming puzzle spawns in The Dread Pit or Tak-Rethan Abyss by running low-tier versions, solving available puzzles, leaving the delve, and repeating.
Choose Your Delve
The two recommended delves are The Dread Pit in Ringing Deeps and Tak-Rethan Abyss. Run either at Tier 1 so enemies die quickly.
Run The Dread Pit: Rescuing Kobolds
Select the Rescuing Kobolds scenario, rescue Luch and Skurro, and get thrown across the chasm. From your landing point, check immediately to your left for spawn point one, head down the ramp into the stalactite cave for spawn point two, or continue up another ramp past the extra-life stone and around a bend to the right for spawn point three near a Nerubian Lord. The pipe-filled-chest puzzle in this delve is always solved in one move at the bottom-right.
Alternative: Run Tak-Rethan Abyss
Rush down the first hallway into the main cave and look left for a puzzle spawn; if it is not there, turn right to find the other two spawn locations, both visible from that turn. Puzzles here are solved in two moves, and two puzzles are typically available each run.
Leave and Repeat
After solving the available puzzles in a run, right-click your character portrait and select Leave Delve, then re-enter and repeat. Note that as of patch 11.2, puzzle spawn points persist through resets, so if your nearest spawn point is deep in the delve, you must travel to it rather than reset for a closer one.
Tips
In The Dread Pit with the Darkfuse Disruption scenario, a teleporter is available that speeds up travel to puzzle locations.
In The Dread Pit with the Smashing Skardyn scenario, a puzzle spawn sits immediately to the left upon entering the delve, making it one of the closest spawns to any entrance.
Stealth classes can skip the trash mobs on the ramp leading to the stalactite cave spawn point in The Dread Pit.
