Mine Poppin'
Destroy 500 nerubian mines in Azj-Kahet.
Mine Poppin' is a 5-point achievement earned by destroying 500 nerubian mines in Azj-Kahet.
Travel to Ruptured Lake
Head to Ruptured Lake in Azj-Kahet at 29.1, 42.5 and find Kal Smoulderbrow at 29.4, 41.6 to pick up the quest The Second Front.
Complete The Second Front
Complete The Second Front and turn it in to General Steelstrike, then pick up the follow-up quest That Airspace is Mine(d)! from the same NPC.
Collect the Holy Lance Buff
Fly through the gold orbs in the area to gain the Holy Lance buff, which allows you to destroy the nerubian mines. You can find glowing orbs at 62.4, 3 and 66.1, 12.8. If you are no longer on the quest, the orbs are invisible but still collectible — fly to the tip of the main webbed ship near 29.91, 47.25 and fly either left or right from that point to pick up the invisible buff.
Destroy 500 Mines
Use the Holy Lance buff to fly through and destroy mines. The buff lasts approximately 9 seconds before you need to reacquire it. Each mine respawns roughly 30 seconds after being destroyed. Do NOT turn in the quest — keep destroying mines until you reach 500 to complete the achievement.
Check Quest Completion Status
If you have already completed That Airspace is Mine(d)! on your main character, run this in-game macro to confirm: /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(79579)). If it returns true, switch to a level 70 alt who has not completed it, or use the invisible orb method at 29.9, 47.4 on the edge of a rock near the ship.
Tips
Mine destruction credit is shared across the group, so bringing friends allows everyone to progress the achievement faster even if some members have already completed it.
The world quest Let Them Win allows you to pop mines — form a raid group during this world quest to speed up progress.
