A Tribute to Dedicated Insanity

Every player in your group must remove any item level 245 Bind on Pickup drops from 25-player Trial of the Crusader, Val'anyr, any item over item level 245 except the 10-player Tribute Chest cloak (item level 258), and Relentless PvP gear before entering the instance — a resto druid wearing a few pieces of Relentless PvP gear caused one group to fail the achievement entirely.

Allowed items include anything below item level 245, item level 245 set pieces that also appear in the 10-player Tribute Chest, any gear dropping in 10-player Trial of the Crusader or Trial of the Grand Crusader, item level 245 items purchased with Badges of Triumph, and item level 245 Bind on Equip or crafted pieces.

For tanking, the neck drops from Lord Jaraxxus, the shield and one weapon option drop from Anub'arak, and rings drop from the Val'kyr in 10-player Trial of the Grand Crusader. For healing, the neck drops from Lord Jaraxxus, a dagger drops from Faction Champions, and a mace and staff are available from Anub'arak, the Tribute Chest, and Val'kyr. For casters, the neck drops from Val'kyr, rings from Lord Jaraxxus, an off-hand from Val'kyr, and weapons from Faction Champions, the Tribute Chest, and Val'kyr. The item level 258 cloak is available from the 10-player Tribute Chest for all roles and is permitted.

Any new character can be invited to the raid mid-run without disqualifying the achievement — one group had a druid heal bosses 1 through 4 and then swapped to a mage for the remainder, and all ten players received the achievement.

As of patch 4.0.3a, A Tribute to Dedicated Insanity became a Feat of Strength and is no longer obtainable because the Tribute system was removed from the game.
