Contribute a total of 100 ore toward activating helpful contraptions for your fellow players during the "Courier Mission: Ore Recovery" world quest.
For the Collective is a 10-point achievement earned by contributing a cumulative total of 100 ore to Reclamation Machinist NPCs during the 'Courier Mission: Ore Recovery' world quest.
Wait for the World Quest
The 'Courier Mission: Ore Recovery' world quest has appeared infrequently in the rotation. Check for it regularly and begin collecting Taelloch Ore from around the area starting at 69.53, 63.79.
Donate Ore to Reclamation Machinists
Instead of turning in ore to complete the world quest, donate it to the Reclamation Machinist NPCs found at 67.72, 64.25, 60.14, 64.87, 59.43, 62.99, 59.86, 63.94, and 62.72, 64.25. Each Reclamation Machinist accepts a maximum of 20 ore before the contraption is repaired, and a progress bar above their head shows how much ore has been contributed.
Reach the Rooftop Machinist
One Reclamation Machinist is located on the roof of a building near 60.46, 63.83. Interact with the Wooden Plank slightly to the east of the building to reach the rooftop NPC.
Repeat Across Multiple Sessions
Once a contraption is repaired it remains active for 2 hours and will not accept ore during that time. You must contribute across multiple world quest appearances to reach the 100 ore total required for the achievement.

Mounts cannot be used in the area, and contraptions can occasionally become invisible or bug out — if a Reclamation Machinist's progress bar has disappeared, that contraption is already repaired and will not count toward your contribution.
