Fungal Folly Stories requires you to complete each story variant of the Fungal Folly delve, with only one story available per day on a rotating schedule.
Check Today's Story Variant
Head to the Fungal Folly delve entrance at 52.46, 66.18 and check the main menu where you select your tier — the active story variant for the day is displayed there before you enter.
Identify the Lost Miners Story
If Stonegard Benston appears at the start of the delve and offers a quest to save 10 scouts, you are in the Lost Miners storyline for that day. Complete the delve to credit this variant toward the achievement.
Complete Spreading Decay
When dispersing mushrooms during the Spreading Decay story variant, you can move while holding the blue crystal — walk away from the mushroom as it spits poison to drag it along a clean path, avoiding pools on the floor rather than standing still and healing through the damage.
Return Daily for New Variants
If you have already completed the story variant currently active, return to the entrance at 52.46, 66.18 on a subsequent day when the story rotates. The Spreading Decay variant in particular has been observed cycling infrequently, so check the main menu each day until all variants have been completed.
Tips
Spreading Decay can cycle infrequently — some players have waited over a week before seeing it appear on their region's daily rotation.
