Buddy System VI
Raise a companion to level 60.
Buddy System VI is a 10-point achievement earned by raising your companion Brann Bronzebeard to level 60 through completing Bountiful Delves.
Run Tier 8 Delves
Complete Bountiful Delves at Tier 8, which awards 45,000 XP per completion. Tiers below 8 award less — a Tier 4 Delve awards only 15,750 XP — and Tier 9 awards the same 45,000 XP as Tier 8, making T8 the most efficient option before higher tiers become available.
Push Beyond Tier 8
As of patch 11.1, XP gains extend beyond Tier 8: Tier 10 awards 50,000 XP and Tier 11 awards 52,500 XP per completion, so running higher tiers will reduce the total number of delves required.
Farm During Delve Week
Prioritize running delves during the Delve bonus week, as it increases both Brann's XP gains and coin rewards per run. Approximately 156 Tier 8 Bountiful Delves are needed to reach level 60 when farming at T8.
Account for Late-Level XP Costs
XP requirements increase significantly at level 55 and beyond — level 54 requires 306,000 XP, level 55 jumps to 437, 000 XP, and requirements continue rising through level 59 at 875, 000 XP, so expect the final stretch to take considerably more runs.
Tips
Brann was capped at level 55 as of October 6th, so if you are blocked from progressing past 55, a patch update is required before continuing toward level 60.
