Complete the following quests involving the Hillhelm Stead family farm.

Life on the Farm is a 10-point achievement in Hallowfall that rewards the Hillhelm Farmhand's Hoe and Hillhelm Farmhand's Watering Can appearances by completing a series of quests tied to the Hillhelm Stead family farm.

1

Start the First Five Quests

The first five quests in this achievement have no prerequisites. Speak with Aliya Hillhelm at 61.2, 30.6 to pick up Seeds of Evil and Keep the Home Fires Burning. The Egg Basket at 60.8, 27.9 starts Eggs in One Basket.

2

Complete the Quest Chain

After completing Seeds of Evil, Follow Miral becomes available, and completing Follow Miral unlocks Save Tomothy. Complete all five initial quests before progressing further.

3

Reach Renown 12 with Hallowfall Arathi

After completing the first five quests, reach Renown 12 with the Hallowfall Arathi faction. This unlocks Lighting the Way IV, which allows lost Hillhelm family items to drop from creatures during the Spreading the Light event.

4

Obtain Darkroot Grippers and Pull Vines

Purchase Darkroot Grippers from Chef Dinaire, then head to the Spreading the Light event area. Target an Invasive Lashroom — it does not need to be alive — and pull a Shadowrooted Vine while it is targeted to receive Radiant Remnants and event drop items including The Ear and Unusual Potato. Without a Lashroom targeted, vine pulls yield nothing.

5

Find Lil Piggy and Lily's Locket

Both Lil Piggy and Lily's Locket require a Sparkbug Jar or Flickering Torch to see them and Renown 12 to loot them. Lily's Locket has the highest chance to drop from the Stolen Supplies container found in the Mycomancer Cavern Delve — the container spawns in four locations: at 49.5, 21.4, at 38.1, 16.6, at 59.5, 72.5, and at 61.8, 61.3. Enter the delve, use the Sparkbug Jar or Flickering Torch to reveal the chest, then loot it. Note that The Lost Diary and Wilber The Chicken can also drop from this same container.

6

Check Weekly Quest Completion Status

Several lost farm items are on a weekly lockout. Use the following macros to check if you have already looted them this week — if the macro returns 'true', that item is on cooldown until the next weekly reset: Uncle's Eye /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(82964)), Wilber The Chicken /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(82961)), {item:inv_pig} Lil Piggy /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(82963)), {item:inv_misc_shovel_02} Plowhead /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(82968)), {item:inv_cooking_80_brownpotato} Unusual Potato /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(82966)).

Tips

  • The lost Hillhelm family items are weekly — you may only be able to obtain up to 4 of the 5 items in a single week, so use the macro checks in Step 6 to track which ones you are eligible to loot before farming.

  • When farming vines for The Ear and Umbral Eggplant, target a dead Invasive Lashroom before each pull — the Lashroom does not need to be alive, and targeting it is what triggers the item drops.
