Harbinger of the Carved
Outgrow the use of Carved Harbinger Crests during The War Within Season 1.
Harbinger of the Carved is earned by upgrading all gear slots to item level 606 or higher during The War Within Season 1, at which point you no longer need Carved Harbinger Crests.
Upgrade all gear slots
Upgrade every gear slot to at least item level 606. Crafted gear counts toward this achievement, but requires a relog after the final slot is upgraded before the achievement registers.
Check missing slots
Use this macro to identify any slots still below 606: /run local n=tInvert(Enum.ItemRedundancySlot),a;for i=0,16 do a = C_ItemUpgrade.GetHighWatermarkForSlot(i); if a < 606 then print(a, n) end end. Note that class and weapon choice (such as a staff versus a main hand and off hand combo) may cause some slots to display lower values.
Exchange leftover Carved Crests
Once you have outgrown Carved Harbinger Crests, visit Vaskarn at 51.96, 52.11 in Dornogal to trade 90 Carved Harbinger Crests for a pack of 15 Runed or Weathered Harbinger Crests.
