Gurubashi Arena Grand Master
Complete Short John Mithril's quest to obtain the Arena Grand Master trinket.
The Gurubashi Arena Grand Master achievement requires looting the Arena Treasure Chest in Gurubashi Arena 12 times and completing Short John Mithril's quest to obtain the
Arena Grand Master trinket.
Learn the chest schedule
The Arena Treasure Chest spawns every 3 hours on a fixed cycle: 12am, 3am, 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm, and 9pm. The 6am and 9am spawns tend to have the least competition.
Loot the chest 12 times
You must loot the Arena Treasure Chest 12 separate times across multiple spawns, meaning this achievement takes a minimum of several days to complete. The trinkets do not stack, so each loot occupies its own bag slot — hold all 12 before turning them in to Short John Mithril.
Handle competing players
If other players are present, you have two options: defeat them in PvP to clear the way, or use a stealth class ability to sneak past fighting players and loot the chest before they notice. Be aware the chest can despawn if combat drags on too long without anyone looting it.
Turn in all 12 trinkets
Once you have accumulated all 12 trinket loots, turn them all in to Short John Mithril at once to complete his quest and earn the achievement.
Tips
Attending the 6am and 9am spawns reduces the likelihood of encountering other players competing for the chest.
The chest despawns if it goes unlooted for too long — prolonged PvP fights without a successful loot can result in losing that spawn entirely.
Since the trinkets do not stack, reserve 12 bag slots before your final loot so you can hold them all for a single turn-in.
