In Isle of Conquest, disarm 25 bombs.

Cut the Blue Wire... No the Red Wire! is a 10-point Isle of Conquest achievement earned by disarming a cumulative total of 25 bombs across any number of battleground matches.

1

Identify Bomb Delivery Systems

Before attempting to disarm, identify which objectives the enemy controls: the Hangar enables air drops, the Docks enable catapult deliveries, and the Workshop enables direct bombing runs toward your keep's gates. Knowing the active delivery system tells you where bombs will appear.

2

Position Near Your Gates

Station yourself between your keep's defense towers and the front gates. When the enemy controls the Workshop, Demolishers and players carrying bombs will approach your gates in waves, and most bomb carriers will drop their payload and retreat, leaving the bomb available to disarm by right-clicking it.

3

Use the Ghost Method

Die near a gate that is under attack and return as a ghost — in ghost form you can see all enemies and all placed bombs without being detected. Resurrect directly next to a bomb to disarm it with the element of surprise. Note that each death increases the time before you can resurrect, and if an enemy loots your corpse you will not be able to return as a ghost. Remove your gear before dying to avoid repair costs.

4

Time Your Disarm Attempt

Watch a bomb carrier and wait for them to drop their payload before moving in, as many players attempt to place multiple bombs and will interrupt you if approached too early. Defensive cooldowns and swiftness potions help you reach and complete the disarm before being killed.

Tips

  • Progress accumulates across multiple battlegrounds, so even 3–4 disarms per match add up over time.

  • Matches where the enemy holds the Workshop for the entire game generate the highest volume of bombs near your gates, making those matches the most efficient for progress.
