The Faceroller
Defeat Eadric the Pure in the Trial of the Champion with his own hammer on Heroic Difficulty.
The Faceroller requires you to defeat Eadric the Pure in the Trial of the Champion on Heroic difficulty using his own hammer against him.
Enter Trial of the Champion
Enter the Trial of the Champion on Heroic difficulty and engage Eadric the Pure. This is a group achievement, so bring at least one other player — the mechanic requires someone to catch and throw the hammer back at Eadric.
Damage Eadric to Low Health
Bring Eadric the Pure down to approximately 14, 000 HP, then stop dealing damage and wait for him to cast Hammer of Justice on a player.
Cleanse Hammer of Justice
Have a healer — such as a Holy Paladin — cleanse the Hammer of Justice stun off the targeted player before Eadric throws his hammer. The cleansed player will then be able to catch the incoming hammer.
Catch and Throw the Hammer
To catch the hammer, hover your mouse just in front of your character and spam right-click as the hammer flies toward you. Once caught, throw it back at Eadric the Pure to deal approximately 15, 000 damage and deliver the killing blow, completing the achievement.
Tips
If stunned by Hammer of Justice, you can still catch the hammer by hovering your mouse just in front of your character and spamming right-click — no cleanse is required for this method.
At level 90 and above, Hammer of the Righteous is amplified by the mob level difference damage multiplier, meaning a single hammer hit at maximum health can instantly kill Eadric, simplifying the achievement significantly.
