The Captain's Booty
Drink with the Dread Captain DeMeza to join her crew during Pirates' Day.
The Captain's Booty is a 10-point achievement earned during the one-day Pirates' Day event on September 19th by drinking with Dread Captain DeMeza in Booty Bay.
Travel to Booty Bay
Head to Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale and make your way to the bank building near the Horde Flight Point master.
Reach Captain DeMeza
Go upstairs through the Baron Revilgaz room to reach the rooftop of the bank, where Dread Captain DeMeza is located.
Drink with DeMeza
Talk to Dread Captain DeMeza and choose the option to drink with her — this grants a 12-hour buff that transforms your character into a race- and gender-specific pirate appearance, completing the achievement.
Tips
Commoners in capital cities also offer a shorter 1-hour version of the pirate buff, but you must drink with Dread Captain DeMeza herself to earn the achievement.
The buff lasts 12 real-time hours and persists through combat, death, logging off, and phasing, but shapeshifting will remove it — avoid shapeshifting abilities if you want to keep the appearance.
