Herald of the Titans
Defeat Algalon the Observer at level 30 without anyone in the raid wearing items higher than Item Level 41.
Herald of the Titans requires defeating Algalon the Observer in Ulduar while all raid members are level 80 and no one wears armor above item level 226 or weapons above item level 232.
Understand Gear Restrictions
Armor pieces (including trinkets) must be item level 226 or below, while weapons, offhands, wands, ranged weapons, sigils, idols, and similar non-armor slots may be up to item level 232.
Farm Valid Gear Sources
Acceptable gear sources include: all Ulduar 10 normal loot (item level 219), all Ulduar 10 hard mode loot (226 armor, 232 weapons/ranged), all Ulduar 25 normal loot (226 armor, 232 weapons/ranged), weapons and ranged items from ToC 10 normal (232), all Ulduar craftable gear (226), Emblem of Conquest gear (226), items from ToC 5-man Heroic (219), weapons from ICC 5-man Heroic (232), and items from ICC 5-man regular (219).
Avoid Invalid Gear Sources
Do not equip any armor from ToC 10 normal (item level 232), any Ulduar 25 hard mode loot (239), anything from ToC 10 hard mode (245/258), or anything from either version of ToC 25 (245/258/272).
Enter Ulduar and Reach Algalon
No key is required to open the door to Algalon's room, and there is no longer a 1-hour time limit on the encounter, so you can fight him for as long as needed.
Defeat Algalon the Observer
Defeat Algalon the Observer while all participants are level 80 to earn the achievement and the account-wide Herald of the Titans title (account-wide since patch 5.0.4).
Tips
This achievement is still obtainable and was confirmed obtainable as of patch 11.5 as long as all raid members are level 80.
The achievement and title are account-wide, so completing it on one character unlocks the title for all characters on your account.
