Defeat Yogg-Saron with the assistance of one or fewer Keepers in 25-player mode.
One Light in the Darkness (25 player) requires defeating Yogg-Saron with the assistance of only one Keeper active in 25-player mode.
Activate Only Thorim
Before the fight begins, speak only to Thorim to activate him as your one permitted Keeper. His buff, Fury of the Storm, increases all damage done by 10% and total health by 20%. Without Thorim, the Immortal Guardians that spawn in phase 3 cannot be killed and must be tanked until Yogg-Saron dies, which becomes nearly impossible if raid members are dead or low on Sanity.
Manage Sanity Without Wells
Without Freya activated, there are no Sanity Wells available to regenerate Sanity during the fight, so every other source of Sanity loss must be avoided manually — this means breaking mind links immediately and never facing the wrong direction during relevant mechanics.
Stay Above 30% Sanity
Players above 30% Sanity can be targeted by Malady of the Mind and Psychosis, so be aware that dropping below 30% Sanity removes those specific threats, though all other avoidable Sanity-loss mechanics still apply throughout the encounter.
Defeat Yogg-Saron
Enter Ulduar and progress through the raid to reach Yogg-Saron, then defeat him with only Thorim's assistance active to complete the achievement.
