Nine Lives (25 player)
Defeat the Feral Defender while defeating Auriaya in 25-player mode.
Nine Lives (25 player) requires you to defeat the Feral Defender nine total times during the Auriaya encounter in Ulduar's 25-player mode.
Enter Ulduar and Engage Auriaya
Enter Ulduar and begin the Auriaya encounter. The Feral Defender spawns approximately one minute into the fight with 8 stacks of Feral Essence, allowing it to revive itself once per stack.
Kill the Defender Nine Times
Kill the Feral Defender each time it spawns or revives. Each death costs it one Feral Essence stack, so you must kill it a total of 9 times to exhaust all stacks and complete the achievement.
Reposition Each Defender Kill
Each time you kill the Feral Defender, it leaves a Seeping Feral Essence void zone on the ground. Kill the Defender in a different location each time so these void zones do not block the raid's movement or positioning.
Burn the Defender Quickly
Destroy the Feral Defender as fast as possible each time it is up. The faster each kill is executed, the more time you will have remaining before Auriaya's enrage timer. Reduce Auriaya to low health before the final Defender dies so she can be finished quickly afterward.
Unequip Auto-Attack Trinkets
Remove any trinkets or gear that proc automatic attacks before starting the encounter, as these can unintentionally deal damage to Auriaya and kill her before all nine Defender kills are completed.
