Nine Lives (10 player)
Defeat the Feral Defender while defeating Auriaya in 10-player mode.
Nine Lives (10 player) requires you to kill the Feral Defender nine times during the Auriaya encounter before finally killing Auriaya herself.
Clear Both Side Platforms
Before engaging Auriaya, clear all trash mobs on both the left and right sides of her area. You need the full space across all platforms to place the nine Seeping Feral Essence void zones left behind each time the Feral Defender dies.
Engage Auriaya, Kill Sentries
Pull Auriaya and kill her sentries. Once the fight begins, deal damage to Auriaya but do not kill her — keep her above roughly 200,000 health so she survives long enough for all nine Feral Defender kills.
Kill Feral Defender Nine Times
The Feral Defender spawns at the start of the encounter and begins with 8 stacks of Feral Essence. Each time you kill it, it leaves a Seeping Feral Essence void zone on the floor and respawns after roughly 30 to 60 seconds using one Feral Essence stack. Kill it in a new location each time to avoid the void zones, working across the cleared platforms. You must kill it a total of nine times until it has zero Feral Essence stacks and can no longer respawn.
Kill Auriaya Last
Once the Feral Defender is dead with zero Feral Essence stacks remaining and cannot revive, kill Auriaya to complete the achievement. Be aware of her Terrifying Screech ability, which can fear you into one of the void zones on the ground.
Tips
The enrage timer on Auriaya is 10 minutes, so kill the Feral Defender quickly each time it respawns or the enrage will end the attempt.
