Deforestation (25 player)
Defeat 2 Ancient Water Spirits, 2 Storm Lashers and 2 Snaplashers within 10 seconds in 25-player mode.
Deforestation (25 player) requires defeating 2 Ancient Water Spirits, 2 Storm Lashers, and 2 Snaplashers within 10 seconds during the Freya encounter in Ulduar.
Engage Freya Without Attacking
Enter Ulduar and ride up to Freya. Let her start the fight but do not attack her or deal any damage throughout the encounter. Dismiss any pets before engaging to avoid accidental kills.
Understand the Add Wave Order
Freya summons exactly 6 waves in a fixed order: waves 1 and 4 are the Ancient Water Spirit, Snaplasher, and Storm Lasher together; waves 2 and 5 are the Ancient Conservator; waves 3 and 6 are Detonating Lashers. The order does not repeat beyond wave 6, so the spawns stop after all 6 waves.
Let the First Wave Live
When Freya summons the first wave of Ancient Water Spirit, Storm Lasher, and Snaplasher, do not kill them. Allow waves 2 and 3 (Ancient Conservator and Detonating Lashers) to spawn and kill those if desired, then wait for wave 4 to bring a second set of all three target mobs. If the first wave is accidentally killed, reset the fight.
Kill All Six Mobs Together
Once wave 4 arrives, you will have 2 Ancient Water Spirits, 2 Storm Lashers, and 2 Snaplashers active simultaneously. Wait for the Ancient Water Spirit to return to your position since it charges around randomly, then use a strong area-of-effect ability to kill all six within 10 seconds. Avoid abilities that might accidentally kill Freya before the achievement registers.
Kill Freya to Receive Achievement
After all six mobs die within the 10-second window, turn and defeat Freya. The Deforestation (25 player) achievement is awarded after Freya is killed, not at the moment the adds die.
Tips
If the first wave of Ancient Water Spirit, Storm Lasher, and Snaplasher is killed before the fourth wave spawns, reset the encounter immediately since only 6 waves total will ever spawn.
