Defeat Freya while she is affected by 25 stacks of Attuned to Nature in 10-player mode.

Getting Back to Nature (10 player) requires you to defeat Freya in Ulduar's 10-player mode while she still has at least 25 stacks of her Attuned to Nature buff remaining.

1

Understand Attuned to Nature

Freya begins the fight with 150 stacks of Attuned to Nature, and each stack increases the healing she receives by 4%, meaning she starts the fight with 600% bonus healing. Stacks are removed only by killing her adds, so controlling which adds you kill and when is the key to this achievement.

2

Know How Stacks Are Removed

Killing an Ancient Conservator removes 25 stacks from Freya. Killing the trio of Ancient Water Spirit, Storm Lasher, and Snaplasher also removes stacks — all three must be killed together or they revive. Freya summons adds in three different compositions in a random initial order, and once all three pack types have appeared, that order repeats until she is killed or the encounter resets.

3

Plan Your Add Kills Carefully

To leave Freya at exactly 25 or more stacks when she dies, track how many add waves you kill and which pack types they are. Avoiding the Ancient Conservator kill entirely is one approach, since each Conservator kill alone removes exactly 25 stacks. Be cautious with any area-of-effect damage, as unintended add deaths can remove stacks and push Freya below 25 before you kill her.

4

Use the Mushroom Buff Wisely

The mushrooms in Freya's encounter grant a 20% damage buff, which helps offset the significantly increased healing Freya benefits from at high stack counts. Leaving more stacks on Freya means she heals more aggressively, so use the damage buff from the mushrooms to power through her healing.

5

Defeat Freya at 25+ Stacks

Once you have managed the add waves to keep Freya at 25 or more stacks of Attuned to Nature, kill her to complete the achievement. The achievement triggers as long as she has at least 25 stacks remaining at the moment of her death — it does not require exactly 25.

Tips

  • Prioritize killing the three-add pack (Ancient Water Spirit, Storm Lasher, Snaplasher) over the Ancient Conservator, since the Conservator alone removes a full 25 stacks and is the easiest single kill to accidentally push you below the threshold.

  • If you want a safer margin, aim to keep Freya well above 25 stacks and only kill the minimum number of add waves needed to make her damageable enough to finish off.
