Don't Stand in the Lightning (25 player)
Defeat Thorim without any raid member being struck by Lightning Charge in 25-player mode.
Don't Stand in the Lightning (25 player) requires you to defeat Thorim without any raid member being struck by his Lightning Charge ability.
Enter and Defeat Thorim
Enter the raid and defeat the gauntlet to engage Thorim. He casts Lightning Charge approximately every 15 seconds — it originates from him and travels toward one of the lightning orbs positioned around the arena edges.
Identify Lightning Charge
Do not confuse Lightning Charge with Chain Lightning or Storm Hammer — those cannot be avoided and do not affect this achievement. Only Lightning Charge matters, which appears as a slow channeled beam moving from Thorim toward a corner orb.
Clear Targeted Corners
When Thorim begins channeling Lightning Charge toward a corner, all raid members must immediately move out of that section of the arena. The charge lights up visibly, giving enough warning to reposition in time.
Use the Tunnel Method
An alternative approach is to pull Thorim just inside the tunnel entrance and have all raid members fight from in front of him. Since all the lightning orbs are behind Thorim in this position, it becomes impossible for anyone to be struck by Lightning Charge. Avoid having pets out when using this method.
