Getting Cold in Here (10 player)
Defeat Hodir without any raid member having more than 2 stacks of Biting Cold in 10-player mode.
Getting Cold in Here (10 player) requires defeating Hodir in 10-player mode without any raid member accumulating more than 2 stacks of Biting Cold.
Understand Biting Cold
Biting Cold stacks increase on the entire raid over time, with each stack dealing damage over time. Both movement and proximity to the Toasty Fires created by the mage friendly NPCs will reduce stack counts, so staying near those fires or keeping moving is essential to staying below 3 stacks.
Watch for Freeze and Flash Freeze
Flash Freeze is an avoidable ability that can trap you in ice, and Freeze is a close-range dispellable effect — both interfere with movement, which is your primary tool for keeping Biting Cold stacks low. If combining this with Cheese the Freeze (10 player), having a PvP trinket or Every Man for Himself ready helps escape ice before stacks climb.
Enter and Defeat Hodir
At max level this fight is soloable — simply enter the raid, keep moving around the encounter area, and stay near the conjured fires to suppress Biting Cold stacks. Death Knights can use Anti-Magic Shell while frozen to help resist the debuff buildup.
