Disarmed (10 player)
Destroy both of Kologarn's arms and then Kologarn himself within 12 seconds in 10-player mode.
Disarmed (10 player) requires you to destroy both of Kologarn's arms and then kill Kologarn himself within 12 seconds in 10-player mode in Ulduar.
Understand the Mechanic
Kologarn loses approximately 15% health each time one of his arms is destroyed, meaning the health loss from killing both arms must be what kills Kologarn — he cannot die from direct body damage. Do not use damage-over-time effects, as they can kill the body independently and nullify the achievement.
Assign DPS to Arms
Assign one dedicated DPS player to each arm. The Left Arm should be worked down to around 5% health over the course of the fight while the Right Arm is killed repeatedly as normal to manage Grasping Tentacles.
Set Up the Kill Window
When Kologarn's health is above 40% but close enough that killing both arms will bring him to zero, work the Right Arm down low while the Left Arm sits at roughly 5%. Kologarn must not be below 15% health before the final arm kills, or he will die after only the first arm is destroyed and the achievement will fail.
Execute the Final Burst
Burn the Right Arm down, then immediately destroy the Left Arm within 12 seconds. The combined health loss from both arm deaths should bring Kologarn to zero, completing the achievement. Kologarn will then face-roll the raid.
Tips
See the video guide for a visual walkthrough of the arm coordination timing.
Killing both arms in quick succession skips the Rubble spawns that normally appear when arms die, removing a dangerous phase from the encounter.
