Stokin' the Furnace (10 player)
Defeat Ignis the Furnace Master in 4 minutes in 10-player mode.
Stokin' the Furnace (10 player) is a 10-player raid achievement earned by defeating Ignis the Furnace Master in Ulduar within 4 minutes.
Position Ignis Near Water
Enter Ulduar and tank Ignis facing the water pools so that his Scorch ability is negated by the water, preventing fire ground marks and removing the need for movement during the fight.
Stack Raid Behind Boss
Position all melee and casters behind Ignis so that healing AoE effects land on the full group, keeping everyone topped off without requiring repositioning.
Manage Constructs With Off-Tank
Have your off-tank pick up any constructs that spawn and drag them into the water pools to prevent them from becoming fire enraged, while contributing DPS to Ignis whenever no constructs are active.
Meet Required Raid DPS
With a standard 3-healer, 2-tank, 5-DPS setup, each DPS player should sustain roughly 4,200 DPS and each tank roughly 2,100 DPS, totaling approximately 23, 300 raid DPS on Ignis across the full 4-minute window, not counting cooldowns like Bloodlust or Heroism.
Use Flasks and Pre-Fight Buffs
Use flasks and stack all available raid buffs before the pull, as the 10-player version has fewer passive raid buff sources than 25-player, making personal consumables especially important for meeting the damage threshold.
Tips
See the video guide for a visual walkthrough of the positioning and add management strategy.
Replacing a healer with an extra DPS increases total raid damage output and provides more margin against the 4-minute timer.
