Understand the DPS Requirement
Ignis the Furnace Master has 19.5 million hit points and must die within 240 seconds, requiring approximately 81, 000 total raid DPS — roughly 4,000 DPS per damage dealer assuming 5 healers across 20 DPS players.
Assign Two Tanks
One tank holds Ignis while a second tank handles the constructs that spawn during the fight; the off-tank must drag constructs into water to prevent them from becoming fire-enraged, similar to the lava elementals in Obsidian Sanctum.
Stack Flasks and Raid Buffs
Use flasks and stack all available raid buffs before the pull, as the 25-player version is easier than 10-player specifically because of the greater number of raid buffs available, and improving gear levels make this threshold easier to reach over time.
Enter Ulduar and Pull Ignis
Enter Ulduar on Heroic difficulty and defeat Ignis the Furnace Master; at max level this can be done by entering the raid and engaging the boss directly.
