Survive being thrown into Ignis the Furnace Master's Slag Pot in 25-player mode.

Hot Pocket (25 player) requires you to survive being thrown into Ignis the Furnace Master's Slag Pot during a 25-player encounter.

1

Enter Ulduar and Engage Ignis

Enter Ulduar and engage Ignis the Furnace Master. The Slag Pot ability targets a random non-main-tank player, dealing 7,500 damage per second for 10 seconds, so you must survive the full duration to earn the achievement.

2

Survive the Slag Pot

While inside the Slag Pot, use any available defensive abilities such as Barkskin, Frost Presence, Bear Form, or self-healing to help survive the damage — your healers should also prioritize keeping you alive during this window.

3

Avoid Immunity Abilities

Do not use Ice Block, Divine Shield, or Cloak of Shadows while inside the Slag Pot, as any ability that removes the debuff will cause the achievement to fail.

4

Use Terracotta Fragment for Easy Solo

If you have the Terracotta Fragment trinket from the Mists of Pandaria rare Jon-Jon the Crow, pop it at the start of the fight — Ignis will quickly throw you into the Slag Pot, and surviving it instantly completes the achievement. Afterward you can reset or die, swap difficulties, and complete the 10-player version the same day.

Tips

  • Tanks cannot be targeted by Slag Pot, so do not queue as the main tank if you want to be thrown in.

  • Hunters can use a pet on passive with Growl to hold threat while standing near the boss, prompting Ignis to throw the hunter into the Slag Pot.
