Dual Talent Specialization
Visit your class trainer when you are at least level 30 and activate your Dual Talent Specialization.
Dual Talent Specialization lets you maintain two separate talent builds on a single character, unlocked by visiting your class trainer at level 30 and paying
10 gold.
Reach Level 30
You must be at least level 30 before you can purchase Dual Talent Specialization. The feature does not require Wrath of the Lich King; any expansion version of the game works.
Visit Your Class Trainer
Go to your class trainer and purchase Dual Talent Specialization for
10 gold to unlock your second talent spec slot.
Switch Between Specs
Once purchased, you can swap between your two specs using the macro command /usetalents 2 or /usetalents 1, which switches from your currently active spec to your inactive one regardless of which is currently active.
Tips
Enable Preview Talents in the Interface menu before spending points so you can experiment with your build without committing to it.
The site talentchic.com shows the most popular specs by class, which can help you decide what to put in your second spec slot.
