Mountain o' Mounts
Obtain 100 mounts (usable by a single character).
Mountain o' Mounts requires you to obtain 100 mounts usable by a single character, rewarding the 
Red Dragonhawk Mount upon completion.
Start With Class Mounts
Paladins begin with the Warhorse and Charger already counted, and can also obtain the 
Argent Charger, giving an immediate head start. Warlocks have Felsteed and Dreadsteed; Death Knights have the Acherus Deathcharger.
Earn Home Faction Mounts
Reach Exalted with your home factions such as Thunder Bluff and Undercity by completing low-level quests in each starting zone, then turn in Runecloth for the final reputation needed to unlock their racial mounts.
Run Daily Heroic Dungeons
Run Sethekk Halls on Heroic difficulty daily for its mount drop, and run Magisters' Terrace on Heroic difficulty daily for its mount drop, as both have a chance to award a mount from the final boss.
Complete Netherwing Dailies
Do the Netherwing daily quests each day to build reputation toward unlocking Netherwing Drake mounts, which become available at Exalted standing.
Complete Skettis Dailies
Do the Skettis daily quests each day to work toward the Skettis mount reward tied to that reputation grind.
Complete Oracles Dailies
Do the Oracles daily quests each day, as this faction offers a mount through their reputation rewards.
Complete Sons of Hodir Dailies
Do the Sons of Hodir daily quests each day to progress toward their mount reward at the appropriate reputation level.
Complete Wyrmrest Accord Dailies
Do the Wyrmrest Accord daily quests each day to reach the reputation level that unlocks their mount reward.
Purchase Mounts From Mei Francis
Visit Mei Francis to purchase the Armored Blue Wind Rider, Armored Brown Bear, and Wooly Mammoth, all of which count toward the 100-mount total.
Craft Profession Mounts
Engineers can craft the Flying Machine and Turbo-Charged Flying Machine, while Tailors can craft the 
Flying Carpet and 
Magnificent Flying Carpet, each counting as a separate mount.
Farm Seasonal Event Mounts
Defeat Coren Direbrew in Blackrock Depths during Brewfest for the Great Brewfest Kodo and Swift Brewfest Ram, and defeat the Headless Horseman in Scarlet Monastery Graveyard during Hallow's End for 
The Horseman's Reins, and run Shadowfang Keep during Love is in the Air for the Big Love Rocket.
Use the Armory to Track Progress
Look up your character on the Battle.net Armory, navigate to Companions & Mounts, click the Mounts tab, then click Not Collected and use Show Advanced Filters to filter by Vendor, Quest, and Faction so you can see exactly which mounts you are still missing.
Tips
Drop rates on dungeon boss mounts do not increase with repeated kills; each run is an independent roll at the same rate, so running the dungeons daily is the most consistent approach.
The Swift Zhevra is obtainable through the Recruit-a-Friend program, which adds two mounts to your total without any reputation or dungeon farming.
